Moka

Moka is a development tool to create GIS applications using objects (maps, themes, legend, databases, functions), organized in a shared catalogue.
These objects can be used in a wide range of applications.
Upon use, they are built dynamically according to set characteristics and user profiles, meaning that users with different profiles are able to access the same application, whilst having different maps and functionalities available for example.

With Moka it is currently possible to define web client applications based on ESRI ArcGIS Server as well as ESRI ArcGIS desktop client applications based on ArcView, ArcEditor or ArcInfo.
The Moka system is therefore a GIS CMS (Content Management System)
in that it enables users to manage and organize GIS application contents without necessarily being versed in software development environments.

Moka configures as a tool to organize the Geographic Information System of a Service, a Body or a group of Bodies, particularly in the Community Network of the Emilia Romagna region, and to develop applications that provide GIS services to bodies, citizens, professionals and businesses.
